node scheduler / mongo monitoring tool

I have an node scheduler that scraps data and inserts into mongo. Sometimes the source that I scrap from dies, sometimes the server dies etc.

I am monitoring the server with NewRelic.

Is there a way I can monitor the source OR a package that can monitor whether the scheduler is inserting records OR a way that can monitor is a db in mongo is growing and sends an alert if something is wrong?
