Python flask with tornado? [on hold]

I am using the Python Flask as API backend for a Nodejs web server. Flask API is using Mongodb and MySQL databases. Currently traffic is less on the server but I want to scale it to be able to handle larger traffic (hundreds of thousand qps). What are the pros and cons of using tornado with flask? What are other alternatives?
