How to store data in a mongodb database from twitter to a github account

I am using Twitter so analyse the most popular TV shows in each city in the UK. I am hoping to visualize the results on Google maps API.

However, have ran into a bit of trouble and would appreciate some guidance, if possible.

I am using mongodb to hopefully store the data but at the minute I can only run the queries and not sore them, so my question is in relation to how I would go about to store the data to have it on a github account.
