Is it too late to learn Node.js? [on hold]

I am interested in learning Node.JS, but my question is: Is it really too late to learn it? I'm not entirely sure if it's a safe bet learn Node.js today, maybe there is another thing that is new and future will be very important in which to invest my time and mind.
